Valentine’s Day gifts are trending lately, but honestly? We’re not the couple who goes big into Hallmark cards and extravagant plans every year. We love the sentiment, the cozy feels, and making just-a-little bit of magic in winter’s grey stretch. Lately, these sort of things have been made all the more fun through the eyes of my excitable 5-year-old.

Heart-shaped pizza on Friday night, pink pancakes on a heart plate Saturday morning, and tiny thoughtful surprises make February mornings feel special. And when it comes to gifting, or month-long celebrating, here are some of my favourite Valentine’s Day gifts that feel personal, thoughtful, and joyful:

  1. Red Gaspard Cardigan — A cozy statement piece that feels romantic without trying too hard. Perfect for winter layering now and early spring later.
  2. Sapphire Tennis Bracelet — Timeless and elegant, the kind of jewelry you never take off and always feel polished wearing.
  3. Heart Mug — For slow mornings, extra-warm coffee, and a little reminder that everyday routines can feel special.
  4. Saie Super Suede Radiant Blush — My go-to for that healthy, winter-proof glow when you need a bit of color.
  5. Sapphire Huggies — Classic, easy, and refined. Beautiful enough for date night but subtle enough for daily wear.
  6. Ilia Hydrating Lip Gloss — A winter essential. Hydrating, glossy, and effortless.
  7. Kids Heart Pyjama Set — Because Valentine’s Day is extra fun through the eyes of little ones.
  8. Happy Valentine’s Day, Mouse Book — A gentle, festive story for everyone to enjoy.
  9. Heart Drinking Glasses — A small detail that makes the mundane feel celebratory.
  10. Medicube Face Masks — Easy self-care that feels like a treat during long winter nights.
  11. Hair Clip — A simple accessory that pulls everything together.

Think: keep it simple… a little pink, a little heart-shaped, and a lot of warmth. It’s not about going overboard, but more about making little everyday moments that much sweeter.

Home organization is one of those evergreen habits that always feels great, but this time of year, it feels almost necessary. I won’t lie, 2025 was a bit of a doozy (just me?) After a restorative few weeks off for the holidays, I’ve since been on a major purging and organizing spree lately. When this sudden urge strikes, I truly believe it’s my way of creating space for what’s next. Letting go of what’s kept me stuck so that I can invite in new possibilities. New energies. As we step into 2026, the urge to embrace home organization isn’t just about a tidy closet or a neat pantry; it’s about creating space of all varieties.

I’ve been opening drawers, closets, and even digital folders I haven’t touched in years and it feels so darn good to tidy things up, file things away, and let so much stuff go. A professional organizer will often tell you to start with zones that drain you most. Your desktop, your entryway, junk drawers, overstuffed closets… And make sure to celebrate the tiny wins as you go. So I’m doing just that!

Here are a few things I’m loving right now:
• Baskets and bins that make sense (no chaos behind the pretty)
• Seasonal wardrobe swaps that keep closets crisp
• Quiet corners cleared for creativity
• Labels, boxes and cute catchalls (I like finding unique ones at thrift stores!) – my very best friends at the moment

Let 2026 be the year we all feel lighter at home.

When it comes to timeless Christmas decor, I’m a big believer in investing once and reusing them year after year. There’s something so comforting about pulling out the same garland or ornaments each December. It instantly transports me back to past holidays, and now that I have my daughter, that sense of nostalgia feels even more meaningful.

I’ve always found that if you invest in a few classics, you can reinvent them each year with subtle tweaks. Think new ribbon colours, a few added textures, or shifting where pieces live in your home. It keeps things feeling fresh without losing that sentimental charm.

Here are a few examples of things I’m loving that I’d happily bring out year after year:

It finally snowed this weekend, the very first of the season, and suddenly, everything shifted. I’ve always adored this time of year, but I’ll admit I wasn’t fully feeling inspired to decorate until those first flakes hit the ground. We spent the day cozied up at home, watched our first holiday movie (I may or may not have dozed off halfway through), and by the time evening rolled around, I was down a full-blown cozy Christmas decorating ideas rabbit hole.

*really* good HOLIDAY HOME TOURS

There’s something about that first snowfall that makes everything feel more magical. The world quiets down, twinkle lights feel brighter, and even a simple mug of cocoa tastes better. I’ve rounded up a few spaces that are inspiring me this season, along with some beautiful pieces to bring home and deck your own halls. From layered garlands to nostalgic ornaments and the perfect plaid napkins, these cozy Christmas decorating ideas have me officially in the spirit.
