If you’re on the hunt for calm primary bathroom design inspiration, this one might just speak to you. We kept things soft and serene, with just enough contrast between warm and cool tones to give the space dimension without disrupting the overall sense of calm.
As always, I’m sharing a few before photos so you can get a real feel for how far this space has come. We played with natural materials and simple shapes, leaning into Scandinavian minimalism while adding just enough interest to keep it from feeling stark. There’s a subtle elegance here that makes every morning routine feel like a little luxury.
This client has been so generous in allowing me to share the details of their home, so if you’re curious about any of the sources or want to recreate a similar look in your own space, you’ll find a full “Get the Look” board below (and you’re always welcome to reach out with any questions!)

The minimalist details and calming palette make this bathroom feel like a spa sanctuary. You captured Scandinavian simplicity in such a fresh and modern way.
I want to gush over this amazing transformation, but it’s lulled me into a state of calm but intense admiration. Spectacular.
Well isn’t that so lovely to hear, thank you so much!
